With the amount of hype surrounding this and people saying it smelled like Lubin, I blind bought it, but I was expecting it to be a little better. It pretty much stays that way for an hour or two, that's when the incense fades away and you left with the boozy pepper scent for the duration of the fragrance. While it may remind some of an older gentleman, if you're in your mid-30s like me and enjoy wearing classic outfits even in casual settings, this fragrance is the final missing element that will make you look and smell absolutely fabulous.

It is a little 'in your face' (not in a good way) at first, but the dry down smells like pure alpha male deliciousness. I've yet to decide how I feel about Encre Noire à l'Extrême but I imagine that most people who like that one will like this. the first time I put it on was before bedtime and I remember I said what a mistake, It's unwearable. Bentley Intense is boozy in a whiskeyish sense, but largely supported with leathery and woody aspects. The base notes are sensuously accompanied by musk and benzoin Siam which convey a feeling of comfort and warmth.
